Aji Panca is the second mostcommon variety in Peru, and is grown mainly near the coast.
The flesh is medium thick with a smokey berry flavour with fruit overtones.
The long slightly curved tapered pods change colour from a medium light green to a rich chocolate brown,
with only a moderate heat level.
