How to Cook BAKED CORN CHIPS

FRESH CORN CHIPS

Ingredients:

Baked corn chips (any type of color)

Oil spray or canola oil if the corn chips are deep frying

Baking tray

Salt or any other type of seasoning like: ground pepper, or chile powder or lime, ground cheese, etc.

CONVENTIONAL OVEN:

Preheat the oven to 200oC for 10 minutes.

Spread a single layer of corn chips in a baking tray not to stack them.

Spray them with oil.

Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side min on each side. (Keep an eye in the oven as different ovens have different strength). Add salt, chile powder or your prefer seasoning.

DEEP FRYER:

Pre-heat the electric deep fryer to 180oC. Or use a heavy deep pot preheating the oil.

When the oil it’s hot, put a handful of corn chips leave for a minute or until the color has slightly brown.

Place the corn chips in a paper towel to let the oil to dry, add salt or chile powder or pepper or lime

Serve the corn chips with guacamole, refried beans, dip or your favorite salsa.
